The RMBS had been held annually since 1964. Initially as sites in and around the Rocky Mountain area, the conference has grown to become a regional symposium with meeting sites throughout the midwest United States. Attendees come from locations spanning the globe. Attendance and professional paper presentations by individuals from all bioengineering disciplines are encouraged and welcome. Accepted papers are published in the nationally distributed Conference Proceedings through the International Society of Automation (ISA) which are available at the annual meeting.
